Wig Wednesday for Child Cancer Foundation

Wig Wednesday for Child Cancer Foundation

WGP was getting behind our Year 8 learner Josh by supporting Child Cancer Foundation with Wig Wednesday on 13 September! Josh Walker and the Whangaparāoa College big band was live on the AM show on TV3 - as Josh was set to shave roving AM reporter William Waiirua's head! Josh, Willie and the band were set up in Te Komititanga Square, Commercial Bay. There was two 'live crosses' on the AM show. Learners and teachers showed great support for this great cause by wearing fun wigs and crazy hairdos. We had a catwalk with prizes for the best wig/hairdo!
