New Uniform Coming 2025!

We are excited to announce that Whangaparāoa College will be introducing a refreshed school uniform at the start of the 2025 school year. The new uniform will be compulsory for Year 7 learners, attending from the start of the 2025 school year as well as the 2025 Year 11 cohort.  The full implementation phase will be as follows:

  • 2025: New uniform compulsory for Year 7, and Year 11 learners, and prefects.

  • 2026: Year 7-12 learners and prefects will be required to wear the new uniform.  The 2026 Year 13 cohort may continue to wear the old uniform for their last year, if they choose to.

  • 2027: All learners will be required to wear the new uniform.

Current School Uniform

The following outlines current school uniform and uniform expectations.  As above, a new uniform is being introduced from February 2025 starting with Year 7 and Year 11 learners.  Learners of any year level can move to the new uniform at any time during the implementation phase but it will not be compulsory to do so until the dates above for the respective year groups.

Whangaparāoa College has high expectations regarding wearing of the college uniform. Learners at the college are expected to wear the uniform at school or when on activities related to the college. For physical education, Learners will need to purchase the correct PE uniform.

The uniform items are all high quality products and will last several years. No other jerseys or jackets are to be worn at school.

UNIFORM

Footwear - Plain black flat healed shoes or black flat heeled sandals worn with a heel strap. All footwear must be neat and tidy. No writing on shoes or sandals. All shoes are to be below the ankle.  Crocs are not acceptable school shoes.
Socks - Plain black socks above the ankle, with shoes only (not sandals).
Stockings - Black opaque or flesh coloured stockings worn with skirt.

Optional - Whangaparāoa College embroidered cap can be worn (no plain caps).

 

General Notes

  • Learners are expected to wear the correct school uniform at school, to and from school.
  • All uniform items can be purchased at NZ Uniforms or online NZ Uniforms.
  • All clothing is to be clearly named.

Uniform Sales
All uniform will be available online via a specialised school uniform shop run by NZ Uniforms at www.nzuniforms.com. Uniform can be purchased 6 days a week, weekdays 9 am - 5 pm and Saturday 9 am -1 pm, from the NZ Uniform shop - please click here for address details.
