Information on organisational capacity for Rodney area in Alert Level 4

Police:
Police are still working 24/7 front line with extra Covid Community Reassurance Police. Advise any clients to still ring 111 in an emergency.
Currently Rodney and North Shore Police station front doors are closed to public for reporting purposes. Henderson Police station is open.

Oranga Tamariki
-The Oranga Tamariki, Orewa office, is not being staffed under level 4 restrictions – all staff are working remotely from home. This is different to previous lockdowns due to the concerns regarding the delta variant of Covid-19.
-Oranga Tamariki will continue to respond to high- risk situations as required. This will be considered on a case by case basis.
-We will continue to support our current Tamariki and Whanau in any way we can. The type of response required with be considered on a case by case basis.
staff all have access to their laptops and mobile phones so can be easily contacted as per normal.
-If you have concerns about any existing Oranga Tamariki clients then please contact the allocated social worker directly.
-If you have any concerns regarding any tamariki or rangatahi that aren’t involved with Oranga Tamariki, you can seek some advice from the National Contact Centre on 0508FAMILY.

Hestia is still operating under level 4.
Our team will be working from home or at a distance for most of the time, and using PPE gear for any necessary close contact work.
Our safehouse is locked down with existing whanau but we will still be able to arrange crisis accommodation when needed. The best way to contact us is on our crisis line 0800 321 361

Kindred Family Service Centre in Helensville is operating in Level 4
- All staff are working remotely from home with exception of our refuge kaimahi who is supporting our safe house residents.
- Advocates will be checking in with clients and developing safety plans and support as necessary.
- Advocates are available to conduct essential face to face mahi with PPE where necessary.
- Our Refuge support line is 021 842 917
- The Kai Collective will be operating under strict protocols to support food security issues through this period.

Te Ha Oranga staff are working mostly remotely from home.
We have a team working alongside the Northern Region Health Coordination Centre, to help provide welfare support to those in community isolation within the rohe, if required.

Marinoto sites at Orewa and Shakespeare Rd, Milford are closed and staff are working remotely. Our Nile Rd clinic is staffed, but for crisis work only. The front doors at this site are locked.

Abuse Prevention Services will be operating remotely during both levels 3 and 4. Our staff and contractors will be providing check-in sessions and programme/counselling sessions remotely when it is safe for clients to do so. Victim Support
with our vulnerable clients and their families continues via phone.

Citizens Advice Bureau
We'll be operating by phone and email for the duration of any Level 3 or 4 lockdowns. www.cab.org.nz and 0800 367 222.

Steps Forward will be working remotely until level 2. We are not able to offer face to face support but are continuing our work via phone, zoom and email.

Rosa Counselling Trust is closed for face to face business, but working remotely and available for phone consultations/emails etc. (NB: the best number to contact us currently is on our cell: 0220483461)

Youth in Transition is operating remotely.
YIT offices are shut – all staff are working from home.
A senior clinician is on duty every day from 9-5 and can be reached on 022 647 5528
No face-to-face client sessions are taking place.
Client sessions are being conducted via video conferencing or telephone.

Homebuilders Family Services is operating remotely. Services are being offered via phone and internet.
Spring Board Trust is operating remotely in level 4. Staff are operating from home and working hard to stay connected to the clients. All staff are contactable during normal working hours- Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Foodbanks
Salvation Army, Red Beach is running its Thursday foodbank 10-12pm as usual, it's contactless.
Northgate Church in Silverdale is also providing food parcels. They have a form on their website which needs to be filled out to request a parcel.
