The Year 11 Geographers spent a day surveying Shakespear Park this week to enhance their understanding of sustainability. The group gave back to the community by volunteering towards sustainable strategies taken in the Park.
During our trip, we got to learn about the many ways Shakespear Park stays sustainable and how they protect the environment. We even got to meet the local pigs and feed them apples! We heard from the Ranger, walked the Waterfall Gully Track, and volunteered by laying metal along the pest-proof fence to protect the Park from predators.
All of the Geography students worked well as a team and got the job done.
