This was the second week of camps at Tawharanui Regional Park for our last group of four Year 7 classes. The weather was superb and the learners had a blast! During their one night stay, each class took part in a snorkelling session run by Sophie from Experiencing Marine Reserves, and conservation sessions which included GPS Tracking, Monitoring the Wildlife and Checking on Predators.
In the evening, they had the opportunity to go on a night walk, where some of the groups heard and saw Kiwi! The next day, we visited Ti Point Reptile Park, and got to touch a Tuatara!
