Whangaparaoa College Baseball Player at National Level
Zaid Flynn, selected for the NZ U15 National Baseball Team spent his summer holidays playing at the Oceania U15 Championship in Pakuranga. They faced visiting teams from Australia, Fiji and New Caledonia and finished second in the competition. There is still a chance that as a ‘wild card team’, they will go to the World Championships in Panama later this year. It is great to see one of our players reaching the standard of national level and having the prospect of playing overseas, proudly wearing a NZ jersey.
