All Learners who live within the home zone described below shall be entitle to enrol at the school.

Starting at the Orewa Bridge, travel south and west along the centre of the Hibiscus Coast Highway (65-253 odd numbers only included) to the intersection with Whangaparaoa Road (included). Travel cross country to the Weiti River, travel east along the river towards Karapiro Bay and follow the coastline of the entire Whangaparaoa Peninsula north east, then west, back to the starting point

Proof of residence within the home zone will be required.

Whangaparaoa College was established in 2005 and has exceptionally modern facilities. This includes a large science and technology building, an outstanding performing arts centre. 6 tennis courts, 4 playing fields, adventure playground as well as an IT Suite and well equipped gymnasium.

Whangaparaoa College has cutting edge buildings and facilities, this allows us to deliver an innovative and challenging curriculum. We have a friendly relaxed atmosphere in both a safe and supportive environment.

Within 10 minutes of the school are 10 beaches and a regional park. The school is also within walking distance of a shopping mall, leisure centre, tenpin bowling and a 5 screen cinema.

We are not able to give messages to learners during the day unless they are urgent. It disrupts the learning of a class if it is constantly interrupted with messages.

School Lockers

Lockers are available to all students this year, $50 per year plus a refundable $10 bond. If you would like a locker for 2019 you will need to call or text Robyn on (09) 4375818 or 0274 221 783 or fill in an online order form at www.stowawaylockers.co.nz GET IN QUICK as they are going fast!
