This a tournament for Secondary Schools from all around New Zealand to compete against other Premier teams over a variety of Sports. Venues differ depending on Sport played, if outside Auckland area teams will then stay away in accommodation booked through school along with their coach and manager and any parent help that is required.
The cost of this differs depending on venue, how long the tournament runs for and numbers in a team but can be in the range of $200- $600. To qualify for the NZSS tournaments learners must be playing in a Premier/Senior team for the school in a weekly competition eg Basketball at North Harbour.
