Description
Hockey at Whangaparaoa College is open to all learners, both boys and girls, from Years 7-13. 
Hockey is played during terms 2 and 3.
Year 9-13 play 11 a-side while Year 7 & 8 have the option to play 11 a-side or 6 a-side (also dependent on numbers).
For summer hockey please enquire at the Sports Department.

Trainings
Each team trains once a week on the school astro-turf.

Games 
Year 7 & 8 7 a-side - Monday/Tuesday (new competition)
Year 9 -13 Boys -  Wednesday (4pm- 7pm, various locations)
Year 9 - 13 Girls - Thursday (4pm - 7pm, various locations)

Cost
Fees will be confirmed at the time of registration.
Cost of school van included.
Fees must be paid before you play "NO PAY NO PLAY"

Uniform
All teams playing shirts are provided. Navy shorts (or PE Shorts can be worn) and light blue sports socks (to be purchased from online uniform shop). Goalie gear provided.
