We have a major Senior School Production each year and a Junior Production every two years.  The Senior School Production is at the end of Term 1 and auditions are usually held in Week 1 of Term 1.  We put on a Musical and a Drama/Comedy on alternate years.
The Musicals usually involve up to 100 learners with opportunity for Dancers, Singers and Drama roles. The Drama or Comedy plays involve up to 30. Learners also take on all the Technical Roles of Assistant Director, Lighting, Sound, Costume design and Make-up, Set Design and Building, Props, Stage Manager and Back stage Crew.
They can gain credits for Perform an Acting Role and also in the Performing Arts Technology standards for NCEA.
We also have Showcase evenings where we perform Drama and Dance pieces from Internal NCEA standards throughout the year.  The Year 9 and 10’s also show some of their work at the end of the year.
