SCHOOL THEATRE TECHNICIAN
Applications are invited for the part-time position of School Theatre Technician. Reporting to the TiC of Extra-Curricular Arts, the successful candidate will provide technical support for all theatre sound and lighting, 5 hours per week during school term time. Hours are variable.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate full understanding of sound and lighting systems in our school theatre, and an ability to liaise with a variety of colleagues including music tutors, teachers, support staff, and learners. They will also need to show great initiative in a very creative area of the College.
Position commences in Term 1 2020. This position may suit a university student looking for part time work.
SCHOOL THEATRE MANAGER
Applications are invited for the position of School Theatre Manager. The successful applicant will have full understanding of all sound and lighting in a school theatre, with great skills in audio engineering and event management. They will also have excellent communication skills in dealing with a wide range of customers and staff of the college and managing all external hirers of the school auditorium. Hours are variable around the theatre bookings and will occasionally include weekends.
Position commences in February 2020. This position may suit a university student looking for part time work.
