Under the Education Act, attendance at school is compulsory, unless the learner is unable to attend because of sickness, danger of infection, sudden and serious illness of a parent, or severe stress of weather. 

Learners are not permitted to leave the school grounds during the lunch break, Only Year 13 learners with study either side of the lunch break are allowed to leave the school grounds.

If your child needs to leave school during the day, please ensure they have a note to show their teacher and bring this to Admin to sign out. If a non-caregiver/parent is collecting your child, please include this information in the note or phone the school to advise this prior to collection.

Learners are required to be punctual and need to be at school prior to 8.40 am. For more information on the school day, click here to go to the school timetable.

Learners are under the school's authority during the school day (8.40am to 3.15pm) or at any function held under the control of the college.

If you are taking your child out of school during term time for an extended time frame ie overseas trip please notify the Principal prior to your departure
