James Thomas taught Economics and Physical Education for many years as well as being involved in middle and senior management and the extra-curricula life of a number of schools.
James joined the College in October 2006 as the Associate Principal. His main responsibility is behaviour management. He works to enhance and maintain a school environment where Teachers can teach and all Learners can learn. He believes behaviour management plans and practices must be underpinned by the one key value – Respect. Respect for others; respect for self; and respect for property and the environment.
Over the years James has been involved with national examinations as an examiner and marker, author of several Economics text books, advisor to other teachers and seminar presenter. He is married with four children; and enjoys basketball, windsurfing and reading.
