Whangaparaoa College highly values arts education, providing an extensive range of opportunities for learners to experience the arts and to develop skills in this learning area. The school facilities are new and well resourced. There are two main buildings for arts education. The Performing Arts Centre, incorporates a 400 seat auditorium/theatre, two dance/drama rooms, two music classrooms, five practice rooms, a recording studio and a computer suite for music/drama classes to complete tasks such as research, composition and editing silent movies. The Visual Art block includes four art classrooms, a printing/senior paint room, a kiln, and a computer suite for research and computer-generating drawing.
