I will never forget the friends I've made and the things I've learnt in New Zealand.

I have been on an exchange visit to New Zealand for two and a half months and this is a wonderful experience, where you are in front of a new culture, new people, new places and some of them are really different than you the places you have seen before. I like Whangapaparaoa College because they are looking after all the things you need in your life. I was in the school production where I sang and danced, I loved it. I think the exchange is about the chance to enjoy it as much as you can, and that is what I am doing at the moment.

When I came to New Zealand, the first thing I noticed was the relaxed and friendly attitude of the kiwis. Everybody was open and helpful, so I felt welcome from the beginning. And I was very enthusiastic about the New Zealand school. I loved the subjects like drama, food tech or fabrics so it was always fun to be in class. I even liked the uniform!
And the location of the school is great. You are surrounded by beautiful beaches, and you´re not too far away from Auckland. The 5 month were a great time and I would repeat it any time.

I have been at Whangaparaoa College for almost a year and I have made lots of great friends here. All the teachers and staff of the College are fantastic and I would like to say a big thank you to the International Student staff who are awesome.

"I came to New Zealand because my mum's company recommended New Zealand to her. I felt happy about that because my Kiwi friends were friendly and kind when I came. Whangaparaoa College is great because in Korea we don't have PE as we do here. I like the space for playing and the challenge course. I enjoy the challenge of learning English in the mainstream and the teachers are kind to me. I like maths and ESOL.
