This year, to celebrate ANZAC Day, we had a full school Assembly on Wednesday 4 May.  We were honoured to have nine veterans from the Hibiscus Coast Community RSA.  We heard from Mr Mike Enright, a member of our Board of Trustees, and RSA Chaplin.  Mr Max Chilman introduced us to the Veterans, giving us a brief description of what Armed Forces they served for and where they served.   We were very privileged to have several World War II Veterans present.  Mr Frank Townley also spoke to the school about the importance of remembrance.
Special thanks to Emily-Jane Cull and Tait Trimble for singing the Australian National Anthem, Mr Ward for accompanying them on the keyboard, and to Katie McLaughlin for playing the Last Post and Reveille.
