Principal's Message
Last year in 2010, our learners had their most successful year both with very good academic results and an excellent year in all the other activities in school life.
Our goals for 2011 are
-
To improve the completion rate of in class and home learning
-
To further develop reading and writing across the whole school.

To support the development of numeracy through years 7-10.
-
To analyse and differentiate Maori learner achievement.
-
To increase the number of learners staying at school beyond age 16.
-
To identify and implement learning strategies that will improve the achievement of boys.
-
To develop stronger links with contributing schools through working with the staff of those schools.
-
To improve the reputation and standing of Whangaparaoa College in the local and wider community.
The college staff will be working on these over this year.
